How to get Robux legitimately: your options explained
A practical look at official purchases, gift cards, and ways Roblox creators can earn.
What counts as a legitimate method?
Robux is Roblox’s virtual currency. You can purchase Robux using Roblox’s approved purchase flows, redeem eligible gift cards, or potentially earn it as a creator through eligible Roblox features. The specific features and eligibility requirements can change.
Check the official buying options
For a straightforward purchase, open Roblox itself and check its current Robux prices. If you receive a gift card, redeem it using the official Roblox instructions. Prices and redemption rules vary by region and product.
Can players earn Robux?
Creators may earn Robux through experiences, eligible avatar items and other Roblox creator programs. Creating something people enjoy takes effort, and earnings are never automatic.
Watch out for “generators”
Avoid pages that claim they can add Robux just from your username, demand your password, or insist that you download unrelated browser extensions. These are not official ways to add a balance.
Where to check for updates
Read the Roblox Help Center and creator documentation directly rather than relying on viral screenshots of promises.
For current rules and platform information, review the official Roblox documentation.
